Cultists invade burial ceremony in Anambra, kill about 20 mourners

Suspected cultists invaded a burial ceremony holding on Saturday February 26, in Anambra state and killed many mourners before firing multiple shots at the corpse. The burial ceremony for Ozor Chibuike Joseph Chukwuka, aged 34, was underway today, Feb. 26, in Ebenebe, Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State, when the gunmen stormed the venue, shooting sporadically. The deceased, alleged to be the leader of a cult group while alive, was lying in state in his family compound when the cultists attacked. Chairs and canopies were upturned, indicating there had been chaos as people ran for their lives in different directions. Justice Ismaila Abdullahi on Wednesday, February 23, ordered the re-arrest of Jaruma and ruled that she should be remanded in the Suleja Correctional Centre following her and lawyers’ absence in court. He has been in detention since then. The fresh evidence has forced the District Court for the Western District of Washington, Tacoma to postpone Rufai’s trial of $350,000 fraud until May 31, 2022. The US government arraigned him on 15 counts of fraud and identity theft on June 25, 2021. Family Confirms Death Of South African Rapper, Riky Rick

Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado, the famous South African rapper, popularly known as Riky Rick, is dead. The 34-year-old rapper reportedly committed suicide on Wednesday at his residence. Ricky was reported to have hanged himself with a rope after suffering from severe depression. He was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead. The deceased’s family spokesperson, Sheikani Makhado in a statement confirmed his death. According to him, establishing high-quality, long-term education is getting more difficult as key players fail to fulfill their responsibilities. Ngige, ASUU Chris Ngige , the Minister of Labour and Employment, has expressed surprise that the Academic Staff Union of Universities ( ASUU ) and the Ministry of Education have yet to resolve their dispute, which has resulted in the union’s current strike. This was mentioned by Ngige during the resumption of the conciliation meeting with the union on Tuesday.
