Bride-To-Be Dies Two Months After Introduction Ceremony

Mary Hananiah, a bride-to-be, died in Plateau State a few months after her wedding introduction ceremony.

Mary died on Saturday, May 28, 2022, according to reports.

On Valentine’s Day 2022, the deceased got proposed to by her boyfriend, DJ John, and they had their introduction in March.

Meanwhile, friends have taken to Facebook to mourn her.

“My heart is heavy, my eye can’t believe what am seeing on Facebook. Mary my daughter as I usually called you, you promised to come and see me . And I didn’t hear from you again.

“Only for me to wake up this morning and see Rest in peace on your timeline. Am heartbroken this morning. I can’t believe that am typing REST IN PEACE ON YOUR PICTURE” one wrote.

Court Reverses Buhari’s ‘Illegal’ Sack of Ararume As NNPC Chairman

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has restored Senator Ifeanyi Godwin Ararume as non-Executive Chairman of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited. The Court on Tuesday voided the sack of the businessman and set aside the January 17 removal done by president Muhammadu Buhari on the ground that the action of the President was arbitrary, unlawful and illegal. The judge, Inyang Edem Ekwo awarded N5bn against Buhari and the NNPCL to be paid to Ararume as damages for the wrongful sack and disruption of his appointment. Immediately, Ekwo ordered that Ararume be restored to office as a non-Executive Chairman of the NNPC, while declaring as null and void all decisions of the company’s Board of Directors carried out in the absence of Ararume. Jonathan Former President Goodluck Jonathan has stated that he has no link to the northern coalition that purchased the presidential nomination and expression of interest forms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for him. Earlier on Monday, the coalition procured the forms for Jonathan from the International Conference Centre in Abuja. However in a statement issued on Monday night by Ikechukwu Eze, his spokesman, the former president said he didn’t authorise the purchase. “It has come to our notice that a group has purportedly purchased Presidential Nomination and Expression of Interest forms of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the name of former President Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan,” the statement reads.
